The 2009 is an entirely estate grown on the eastern granite slopes of Mount Langi Ghiran. The wine includes a significant whole bunch maceration component, building on the perfumes and delicate aromatics. The 2009 Cliff Edge Shiraz is showing terrific fruit intensity, fruit flavours, complex spice and balanced tannins. With an excellent balance of finesse and depth, this wine is pointing the way for Cliff Edge Shiraz in terms of finely structured palate and fruit intensity.
