Tasting Notes

Deep crimson with purple hues.
Violets, blackberry, cassis and mixed spice.
Blackberry and blackcurrant from the Cabernet Sauvignon are complimented by ripe plum and black cherry from the Merlot. This classic Bordeaux blend displays cedary oak, spices and mocha. Fine, silky tannins are carried by our cool climate acidity.


Fermentation method: Small open fermenters, plunged and pumped over then pressed to barrel to complete malolactic fermentation and mature on lees. Time in barrel: 18 months. Barrel origin: 100% French oak. Barrel age: 30% new
