The 2019 Hollows Sangiovese is made with fruit sourced from our Hollows vineyard on the northern slopes of Mount Langi Ghiran. This vineyard was established by Trevor Mast and was chosen for its protection from the cold south westerlies, its variety of aspects and high quality soils – very similar in fact to the estate’s original plantings. The 2019 Hollows Sangiovese displays fragrant perfumes, complex spice and a luscious core of red and blues fruits that showcases our site and region well.
