2022 Cliff Edge Auxerrois


Rarely seen on the label, Auxerrois is an important grape in Alsace, France, adding substance and depth to white wine blends. The variety can produce excessive crops but when kept to low yields, delivers excellent wines, floral and honeyed wine that will age gracefully.

Tasting Notes

Bright, very pale straw
Freshly-cut green pears and hints of honeysuckle
Yellow apple and nashi fruit flavours are supported by the wine’s minerality on the palate. Subtle texture provides a roundness to the finish.
Drink now or keep for up to 2-3 years


Fermentation method: Whole-bunch pressed and barrel fermented in old French oak.
