Langi day trip, a picnic idyll – RE-LAUNCH in SPRING 2017
Mount Langi Ghiran invites you to spend a day enjoying a relaxed picnic accompanied by magnificent views and sensational wine. We open up our breathtaking vineyard every weekend* to give you the opportunity to bask in the sunshine, amongst the chestnut trees surrounded by hectares of vines.
You have the freedom to plan your day in our spectacular grounds. Bring along your picnic feast, and for the price of a bottle of wine purchased at cellar door, Mount Langi Ghiran will provide you with all the picnic accessories you need. You’ll receive wine glasses, a blanket, cushions, a wooden box (as your table), and cutlery. Then, at your leisure, you are able to roam the stunning vineyard and have access to areas of the vineyard exclusive to picnic idyll visitors!
Lay out your elegant spread under the chestnut orchard, pour yourselves a glass of your chosen drop and indulge in the embrace of Mount Langi Ghiran and Mount Cole. If a lazy day doesn’t take your fancy, maybe a game of bocce on our original bocce court that overlooks one of our oldest vineyard blocks will?
Perhaps you prefer a scenic ride? Just ask for bikes and the maps showing the course designed to show off the best of Mount Langi Ghiran!
Our table tennis table is at your disposal for those looking to flex their ball skills. As is the old tyre swing hanging from the chestnut trees. And those just looking to unwind, we have a selection of captivating magazines for you to peruse.
Make sure you have designated your driver when you arrive at Cellar door for a special reward!
*Every weekend (except special events) 11am – 5pm
From the months of November to March.
