INTRODUCING MOUNT LANGI GHIRAN'S

VINTAGE 2024 MAST SHIRAZ & MUSEUM FLAGSHIPS

This year marks a unique release for Mount Langi Ghiran. With no 2023 vintages of either Langi Shiraz or Mast Shiraz produced due to the exceptional standards required for our flagships, we have brought forward the release of our 2024 Mast Shiraz.

The Mast Shiraz is our tribute to one of the most revered pioneers of cool climate Shiraz, Trevor Mast. Thanks to his foresight, our vineyards continue to deliver high quality wines of distinction year after year. We are thrilled to share the 2024 release in a new look label, paying further tribute to Trevor's legacy.

Alongside the new vintage Mast release, we are opening the museum to offer a limited selection of mature vintages of both Mast Shiraz and Langi Shiraz. These are some of our finest wines ever released, now entering their peak.

This release offers a rare opportunity to experience the remarkable evolution of Mount Langi Ghiran's flagship wines.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS

VINTAGE 2014 | The 2014 vintage provided great conditions for grape growing, with a dry and warm season. Due to a cold snap in spring the crops were low yielding resulting in high quality fruit with intense flavours and complexity.

VINTAGE 2015 | 2015 provided near perfect conditions for grape growing. Despite the unusually cool summer, sugar accumulation commenced relatively early and continued steadily until the end of April delivering fruit with wonderful natural acidity, fine and complex structure, and stunning aromatic range.

VINTAGE 2017 | 2017 provided ideal conditions in the Grampians. Cool weather allowed the grapes to ripen slowly, leading to increased complexity and fine natural acidity. The prolonged ripening season meant Shiraz parcels had understated depth and fine tannin profiles.

VINTAGE 2024 | 2024 was a classic Langi vintage, the best we’ve seen since 2019. Warm days and cool nights giving us the harmonious balance between flavour and acid.
