This Shiraz is sourced from a block, known as ‘Kneebones’ from our Hollows vineyard, situated on the northern slopes of Mount Langi Ghiran. In 2006 four separate wines were made from this block using various oak and winemaking techniques; this one using French oak.

Tasting Notes

The French oak highlights perfume and spice on the nose with notes of cloves, cedar and dried florals.
The palate is finely structured with a darker fruit profile and mocha tones. Length and persistence. Dried stewed fruit, figs, leather and spice.
