2024 was a classic Langi vintage, the best we've seen since 2019. Warm days and cool nights giving us the harmonious balance between flavour and acid. |

A wine that started with an excellent vintage in the Grampians. The colour is light and pale with a vivid luminosity. The nose opens with a distinct lemony essence that merges with highly floral influences. The palate is crisp and keen with those citrus characters reemerging along taut lines and a fine though very friendly acidity. It has a lovely mouth feel and a very long finish.

Sourced from the original Mount Langi Ghiran Bayindeen estate vineyard. Berries pressed to tank and fermented cool. The consistency factor with this wine is strong. Always shows a sunny-side-up front while reaching deeper in flavour on the palate – it can be quite subversive that way. Aromas of green apple, lime cordial, basil and jasmine. Explores the herbal side more fully on the palate with Thai basil, white pepper and ginger against a lime-citrus background. Deliciously chalky-dry in texture.

The 2024 Cliff Edge Riesling leads with bath salts and lemon sherbet, talc and springtime florals. It is pretty, lifted and light, and the palate follows in exactly this vein. The acidity is pert to the verge of being tart, but it sits well within the frame of the wine.
